If you are looking for something truly unique and well made, then you have come to the right place.   This is a vintage industrial pendant made by Well Glass in the 1970's.  It is made from a very thick aluminium cast, thick glass dome, and steel cage.  Fitted with E27 fitting and 60w tungsten bulb, 100w bulbs can be used.
 
You can access the lamp by removing the large bolts, this disconnects the glass dome section which is hinged.  There is manufacturers mark and serial numbers throughout.  This fixture would look outstanding above a kitchen island, poker or snooker table, or as a centre piece in most environments.
