A fine example of a Loomlight tripod lamp comprising of a brass and stainless steel searchlight with timber and bronze tall tripod.
 
The lamp itself is a very substantial fixture with all wiring replaced with our in-house wiring system.  A rocker switch for lamp control has been installed on the bronze cable entry enclosure mounted on the funnel of the lamp.
 
These searchlights have been reclaimed from super tankers and military vessels built during the 1970s.  The build quality of these fixtures is second to none.
 
The main dome is made from machined stainless steel, the funnel of the lamp cast brass and a tempered glass front to form an enclosure for the bulb.
 
The tripod has a bronze top section which is stamped by the manufacturer.  
 
This is a real statement piece which would make a great focal point, adding a touch of vintage industrial style to a modern interior.
