The bulk of the light is cast brass and of excellent build quality with plenty of manufacturers plates embossed with Japanese and English text.
 
A solid explosion proof glass dome made from borosilicate glass completes the enclosure housing the electrics and lamp, which is protected by a chrome cage.
 
Restored, re-wired and polished at Loomlight this light is ready for another 40 years service.
