All original brass, stainless steel and copper fixture expertly converted to a lamp with base, and rubber feet by the Loomlight team.

This very substantial fitting was salvaged from an old Japanese cargo ship, it has travelled one million miles at sea!

The stainless steel and brass finish makes it stand out as a real statement in its environment, an item sure to impress.

The bulb is a 300 watt tungsten which gives a really warm light output, the lamp is a GES (giant edison screw) type which work wells with the size of the dome, together they project a large, soft, spot.

The lamp is controlled by a rotary dimmer switch (see pics) that soft starts and dims the bulb, by doing this will last many times longer.

You would never run the bulb at full ( its far too bright!) thats how dimmer extends the lamp life.

The pan and tilt function from its search light days works very smoothly and locks off via the copper handle.

The lamp is replaced by turning the four wing nuts around the rim, this releases the hinged glass lens/rim for access to the lamp.

All cable glands / seals have been replaced which restores the lights IP rating for use in wet zones around the house.

The bolts that make the feet can be removed and the light can be wall mounted for great directional lighting.

There is many of these available, some may differ slightly but essentially they are all the same.

So please get in touch if you require more than one and international shipping.
