Congratulations!  You have stumbled across an authentic vintage factory light which can be difficult amongst all the reproductions currently on the market.  Originally this pendant was found in the engine rooms of large sea going vessels such as supertankers and cargo ships built during the 1970s.  Lovingly restored to glory, this is a great solution for kitchen islands, breakfast bars, snooker tables etc. or just about any modern interior. 
 
This is an aluminium engine room pendant with green paint finish.  Featuring a spun aluminium dome with cast aluminium top, black steel cage and silver braided cable.
